The rules for using 7ots.com, the dashboard and the desktop pet.
The service
7ots lets you create AI companions (“ots”) with their own face, personality and voice, use them on your desktop, on your site and in calls. Some features have a free quota; others depend on third-party providers.
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for the API keys you add. Keep your devices and email secure.
Acceptable use
Do not use 7ots to break the law, impersonate real people, harass others, send spam, generate harmful content, or attack or overload the service. We may limit or close accounts that do.
AI output
Ots are AI: their answers can be wrong. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.
Third-party services
Payments for handles, calls or projects are processed by apuchat or Orquesta under their own terms. Providers such as notlogin, Anthropic, OpenAI or ElevenLabs have their own terms too.
Open source
The client (CLI, desktop pet, package) is open source under the MIT license; that license governs the code. These terms govern the hosted service at 7ots.com.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect damages or lost data.
